DAUREX is a specialised and versatile partner for everything involving Progressive Cavity Pumps and precision engineering.

Through our experience over the years, DAUREX has become an expert in manufacturing Progressive Cavity pumps and universal replacement parts.

Our history dates back to the establishment of our turnery Daunheimer in Kirchhellen, Germany in the year 1971.

The main focus of our firm was to produce piece work spare parts for Progressive Cavity Pumps. We accomplished this by utilizing highly skilled metal working practices.

In 1978 through our reputation and the growth of our client base our firm increased in size and we moved to a much larger facility in Gladbeck, Germany and renamed our company Daurex.

Very early in our development we specialized in the manufacturing of highly precise solid stators and rotors for Progressive Cavity Pumps in all dimensions and quality materials. Due to our good reputation and ever-growing sales we decided to manufacture our own brand of complete pump assemblies.

Development of our own “EB” & “EDS” range of pumps. But in 1982 due to our growth and need to expand our capacity, we moved yet again to a larger facility and our current head office in Schermbeck, Germany.

Inclusion of the manufacture of construction rotors in large numbers.

Saw the expansion of our production site, with the construction of a new 1,500 m² Factory and in 1997 we added a 1.600 m² warehouse to meet the increasing demand.

We achieved world market leadership in the field of rotor production with 260,000 units sold per year.

Saw expansion in our production capacities with the introduction and installation of robot technology in the construction rotor production.

Production expanded once again with the introduction of a large whirling machine, for use in the production and processing of work pieces with dimensions of 560 mm in diameter and a maximum processing length of 8500 mm

Saw us opening a new stator factory in Schermbeck, with a total size of 400 m² and a processing volume of around 20 tons of elastomer per year.

Name change to DAUREX GmbH with the corporate succession of owner and Managing Director Ralf Daunheimer.

Patenting of our new manufacturing process for solid, extra length stators.

Introduction and patenting of the revolutionary Intelliflex pump system. The Intelliflex is a further development in the progressive cavity pump to reduce power and the consumption of spare parts. The Intelliflex will also reduce maintenance costs through remote analysis and remote control.

Our dealer network and our sales have grown worldwide over the past five decades. Our network of dealers and subsidiaries stretching over Europe, Asia, the Far East and the USA enables DAUREX to reliably realise short term deliveries, to almost every country in the world.
